“Mental Health and Violent Behaviour in our Communities” was the topic of our recent week-long seminar in Turku, Finland, engaging 31 youth from Germany, Portugal, England, Albania, Kosovo, Greece, Netherlands, Finland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Italy, Spain, Ukraine and more! ✨
This seminar brought together young minds from diverse cultural backgrounds to engage in meaningful discussions, share experiences, and learn from each other in a supportive environment.
Participants were engaged in dynamic workshops, where they gained practical tools and strategies to manage a variety of mental health challenges. These sessions empowered attendees with valuable skills and good practices to take back to their communities. One of the seminar’s highlights was the rich exchange of cultural perspectives on mental health. Youth from different countries connected deeply, sharing their unique experiences and learning from each other in an atmosphere of mutual respect and curiosity.
The seminar may have concluded, but our journey towards better mental health for all continues. 😊 We encourage all participants to stay connected, continue sharing their experiences, and apply what they have learned to make a positive impact in their communities. This was also a great opportunity to be part of an international network! 🌈
This seminar was in collaboration with our partner organisation HangFlow ry and funded by the European Youth Foundation (EYF).
