An International Youth Exchange is currently taking place in Luso-Lisbon, Portugal, organized by e.p.a. Network in collaboration with the host organization Eco-Estilistas.
This two-week exchange has brought together 60 young people from youth communities in Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Italy, Spain, Hungary, and Germany. The program provides a safe and inclusive environment for participants to learn, connect, and grow.
Theme of the Exchange:
“Inclusão starts with inter-acção – Let’s dare to share!”
Participants have been actively engaging with this theme through dialogue, workshops, and creative collaboration. Here’s how members of the host group described it:

Each national group facilitated a workshop related to the theme, offering unique perspectives and approaches to inclusion, interaction, and community-building.
Civic Engagement and Media Participation
During the exchange, participants met with local authorities and shared best practices as active European citizens. These discussions took place in formal settings such as receptions with politicians, where youth were encouraged to express their views and promote civic responsibility.
Additionally, Eco-Estilistas presented their own initiative — Radio Zip — an innovative communication platform that allowed participants to broadcast their ideas and reflections on the theme both to local communities and through social media.
Building Friendships and Community
Beyond formal activities, the exchange has been filled with dynamic, inclusive, and educational games that foster collaboration and strong cross-cultural friendships.
As the program draws to a close, participants are preparing to return to their home countries, bringing with them new experiences, connections, and a deeper understanding of inclusion and active citizenship.
