The e.p.a. team with young people and representatives from our partner organisations and network, our e.p.a. International Youth group and of course our beautiful host group from Greece, came together for 4 full days in Thessaloniki for an amazing network partner meeting.
Facing all the difficulties in the world around us, we feel grateful to work with committed partners from our international network and this time to co-organise this PDA – Professional Development Activity, with ARSIS, in Thessaloniki – Greece. An activity under the Erasmus+ Accreditation Project 2025-2026_NA_DE04-KA151-YOU-000297567.
The goal of this activity was to bring together young people, volunteers, and people who work with young people and children in their communities. Our goal was to strengthen our network and international youth work, exchange good practices, and explore together how we can organise and host e.p.a. youth exchanges. And we believe we achieved it!!!
All participants were representatives of our partner organisations, as well as team leaders from youth groups who already take part in e.p.a. youth exchanges. We all agreed that we want to continue co-work, co-create opportunities together, and build the conditions that allow young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, to experience two weeks of international exchange, justice, and participation, in spaces where their rights are respected.
The participants left this meeting empowered and more confident to invite and host e.p.a. youth exchanges in their own countries and communities, and motivated to support their young people to take a more active role in this process.
We are all very much looking forward to our next international youth exchange in Greece, in Thessaloniki and Katerini, hosted by ARSIS.
We hope you will enjoy our video collection, only part of what really happened:
We would like to thank our amazing colleagues Faye, Maria, Abdullah and Irida for their preparedness, contribution, commitment and great cooperation. We also like to thank the young people – hosting group from Thessaloniki for welcoming us in such a wonderful spirit and our international participants for their contribution, active participation and great ideas.
