This initiative brought together the 1) International Council of e.p.a., 2) the Youth Participation Council of e.p.a., 3) the e.p.a. Network, and 4) our young people to create the conditions for learning, collaboration, co-creation and action.

With the proposed title: “All Different – All Equal: Exchanges for (a) Change…?!”.

This inter-national, inter-cultural, and inter-generational seminar provided a space to reflect, exchange, and explore on how youth work can drive meaningful social change. Facing shrinking spaces, growing hatred, exclusion, and attacks on human dignity, we believe there is a need to come together, learn from each other and exchange skills and knowledge on how to support our young people!

Objectives of the Seminar:

Exploring Core Values & Best Practices: Dive into the concepts, methods, and youth participation models of e.p.a. exchanges, learning from each other’s experiences.

Defending Human Rights Together: Strengthen our collective understanding of how to embrace Human Rights and stand up against injustice in youth and community work.

Empowering Young People from disadvantaged backgrounds: Create opportunities for them to engage, participate, and become active European and global citizens.

Encouraging Bold Thinking & Collective Action: Envision and explore international youth exchanges that lead to real, lasting change.

This Professional Development Activity was a three-episode journey with a strong focus on equipping youth workers with the skills, knowledge, and tools needed to foster inclusive participation.

Together, we created the conditions for young people —especially those from marginalized communities — to know, claim, and exercise their rights. Let’s stand up, step up, and act for justice and inclusive world!
