Seminar
All Different – All Equal
Professional Development Activity
Hamburg | Germany
09. May 2026 – 16. May 2026
In 2026, e.p.a. will celebrate 40 years of cooperation with Erasmus+ and 50 years with the Council of Europe. The very first pilot project in Palermo is where everything began, where we first experienced the Open Circle and many of the core elements that still shape our daily work and the methods we use in our international activities.
Our upcoming International Seminar is a PDA – Professional Development Activity, in Hamburg. An activity under the Erasmus+ Accreditation Project 2025-2026_NA_DE04-KA151-YOU-000297567.
With this International Seminar, it will be time to come together again with our wonderful partners, those with many years of experience in international youth work and the younger generation as well, for an intergenerational week where we will create the conditions for everyone to feel safe and respected, and where our wish is to rethink, remake, and recreate together the e.p.a. tools and non formal methods we have been using for so many years.
Following the international seminar in 2025 that began this evaluation process, and the two networking partner meetings in 2026, in Thessaloniki and Palermo, where we went deeper into how to host e.p.a. international youth exchanges, this May we will have the opportunity to collectively reflect on what we can improve. Together with all participants, we will explore suggestions for renewing and adapting our tools, such as Sexopoli, the Hug Workshop, the Children’s Rights Toolkit, and games like “Who is Who”, “How to play with e.p.a.”, the “Mirror Game”, and many others.
We will be open to ideas and contributions from partners across Europe and beyond, as well as from the e.p.a. International Council. This International Seminar will be both a celebration of the work we have done together and a moment to look forward. Thanks to this long commitment, hundreds of young people, especially those with fewer opportunities and from disadvantaged communities, have already experienced meaningful exchanges. Together, we will find new motivation and strength to continue, and to create even more opportunities for the years to come.
