Youth empowerment under a rainbow of hope!

 

To further develop our tri-continental Youth Cooperation project we met representatives of our partners from Europe, Africa and America in the Dominican Republic for a training and preparation seminar from the 27th April to 4th May 2009.

Beside the preparation of our big Youth exchange in Lisbon in August 2009 we studied the history of the slave trade on the spot and visited Youth and community projects. We also had in our programme a meeting with politicians, with representatives of the local public service and representatives of NGOs.

A big thank to our Partner Junta de Mujeres Mama Tingó for their great hospitality!
