“How can we co-create civic communities: combining talents, experiences and passions …?”

Seminar

“How can we co-create civic communities: combining talents, experiences and passions …?”

 Amsterdam | Netherlands

21. September 202428. September 2024

Challenged and troubled by politics inflicting austerity, exclusion, hatred and violence on people we are working with, this seminar will offer an opportunity to reflect on the situations, learn from and encourage each other to continue striving for a ’samenleving’ – beyond borders. We will get to know tools and methods, used by Combiwel for building communities ‘bottom up’, discovering and sharing strengths and visions.

Our programme will consist of presentations with posters, workshops, cultural and project visits, intercultural events, opportunities for non-formal professional exchange, as well as a guided boat tour along the canals looking at the migration history and refugees arriving in Amsterdam.

Our project is funded by a grant from the Erasmus+ Programme (‘PDA’),

which will cover most of costs, for travel -preferably ‘green travel’ by train or bus -, accommodation in the HnH hotel, food and programme. A participant’s contribution will be appreciated.

Please find below the online registration form, and our preliminary Programme for this International seminar.

The costs for this activity can only be partially covered by e.p.a. and we are dependent on contributions from the participants. As the living conditions and situations of all participants are very different, e.p.a. does not set a fixed fee, but ask you for your fair contribution in the spirit of "from those according their abilities, to those according to their needs"!
