Vision 20/20 plus

Youth Exchange

 “Vision 20/20 plus“

Prvine, Ljubljana | Slovenia

23. July 202106. August 2021

60 young people from eight countries came together in Slovenia from 23rd July to 6th August, hosted by Slovenska Filantropija.

This International Youth Exchange enabled the young people, some with fewer opportunities, to spend time together discovering the richness of an intercultural community sharing common values.

Planning visit in May 2021

During the first week, all travelled together to a rural setting in the beautiful mountains of central Slovenia. In the nature we discovered ourselves, each other and started the adventure of “Vision 20/20 plus” with workshops, presentations, games, activities and play. Through many playful (non-formal) education activities, we encouraged and enabled the young people to exchange their views on borders in Europe, and in our minds, learning how to co-create communities and embrace solidarity.

This created the conditions for the participants to widen their horizons and expand their opportunities, developing a basis and confidence for facing their future with and after the pandemic.
