Children’s Social Organisation of Kurgan Region “Open World”

 

The children’s public organization of the Kurgan region “Open World” was created in 1991 as the right successor of the All-Union pioneer organisation. Today ‘Open World’ is a modern public organisation recognized not only on regional and All-Russian level, but also the international level. They cooperate with international organisations and charity foundations and have also partners in the public sector as well as in authorities and commercial structures.

    Their activities are: organisation of leisure of children and youth (including travel); promotion of a healthy lifestyle and family role in society, assistance of self-realisation of talented children and youth, implementation of charitable projects and the actions directed on the targeted support of children, formation of legal culture, development of tolerance in children and youth, prevention of the negative social phenomena in the nursery and the youth environment, training of volunteers for the non-commercial sector, information and methodical support of youth and children's public associations of the Kurgan region, development of international youth cooperation, ecological education/ecological development.
