Embracing New Playful Approaches For Intercultural Understanding

e.p.a. Hug & Methods Seminar

This Seminar took place from the 2nd – 7th May 2015 in Hamburg and enabled us to focus specifically on methods for energisers, games and other tools for non-formal learning.

Our aim was to create an easily accessible version of the e.p.a. “Hug Game” in 15 languages and a collection of energisers and games to use during International Youth activities, which have proved that “play works!”.

We were very happy to invite some youth and play workers from Albania, Slovenia, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Portugal, Romania, Ukraine and Kosovo who wanted to share their skills and experiences working with children and young people in intercultural settings and who had playful ideas for methods that work…

For this seminar we were able to offer amazing accommodation and working space at the famous Elsa-Brändström-House in Hamburg-Blankenese.
